Apple Cheddar Sliders

  • 1 package (12 rolls) Kings Hawaiian rolls

  • 1 can (21-ounces) apple pie filling

  • 8 slices cheddar cheese

  • ¼ cup (half a stick) butter

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Split the rolls in half and place the bottom half in a prepared 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread the apple pie filling over the bottom half of the rolls. Top with cheddar cheese slices. Place the top half of the buns on top.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well. Use a pastry brush to brush the butter mixture over the op of the buns.

  3. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.

  4. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes (or until the tops of the sliders turn a golden brown).

  5. Remove from oven, slice, and serve.
