Donate
Monetary donations allow the pantry to make purchases of perishable foods including fresh produce, eggs, bread, and meat. As needed, we use donations to buy other items including home cleaning products, personal care items, and baby essentials. We strive to buy food from nearby supermarkets that are based in our community as well as from a local farmer. Dollar donations also enable purchases to be made in bulk from the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
All items are distributed to our neighbors in need during the pantry's scheduled client shopping days. By working together, we can ensure everyone in our community has their basic needs provided for.
Please join us in serving individuals and families facing food insecurity by becoming a monthly donor, or by making a one-time donation to the pantry. If you contribute to the United Way through your employer, you can choose to dedicate your gift directly to the Bread of Life Food Pantry.
