A young man named Holden Driver recently built and installed a "Little Pantry" on the church grounds of Calvert Memorial Presbyterian where the Bread of Life Food Pantry is located. The project was Holden's Eagle Scout project.
Holden attends Fox Chapel High School and is part of Troop 380 that meets at Christ Church in Fox Chapel. For his project, Holden received approval, planned, raised funds, constructed, and installed the Little Pantry. He also collected food items from his church (Aspinwall Presbyterian) to stock the pantry. His effort will help people who may experience a food emergency and help to lessen food insecurity issues in the general Etna area.
Holden was cheered on by his family and thanked by Etna's Mayor, Robert Tuñón, and Shirley Voller, the Clerk of Sessions at Calvert Memorial.
Thank you for your time and talents, Holden!
