Friends of Bread of Life Food Pantry,
We need your help.
As of October 16, 2025, an estimated 162,000 people in Allegheny County will not receive benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). This is a result of budget issues at the federal and state government levels. As a result, the Bread of Life Food Pantry anticipates an increase in the number of families using our pantry to meet their basic needs for food.
You can help.
Donate dollars directly at our website: breadoflifeetna.org/donate
Mail a check to: Bread of Life Food Pantry, 94 Locust Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15223
Host a food drive at your workplace or in your neighborhood (contact Pantry Manager Alexis Weber for a recommended donation list)
Drop off non-perishables at the pantry on Tuesday mornings, or at All Saints School on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm (more info)
We stand ready to assist our neighboring families in this time of uncertainty with your help and assistance.
Thanks to those of you who have helped, and please join the effort if you are new to Bread of Life.
