Glenshaw Presbyterian Church recently hosted the "Fill-A-Truck Food Collection", a special event that benefitted the Bread of Life Food Pantry and its shopping clients. The event occurred on Palm Sunday - April 10th, 2022.
Vehicles were parked at the church from 8am-12pm where donations of non-perishable food and paper products were accepted from residents of Pittsburgh's Northside. Items were later delivered to the pantry where volunteers sorted the items and stocked the pantry shelves. Donations from this event will be used to support families in need that reside in the greater Etna and Shaler communities.
Many thanks to Glenshaw Presbyterian Church and their volunteers for hosting this event and also to the many individuals who donated items. It is because of you that we are able to provide for those who face food insecurity in our local community. Together we make a difference.
